知名導演趙婷今天以「游牧人生」（Nomadland）獲奧斯卡最佳導演獎，是繼李安、奉俊昊後第三位獲此殊榮的亞洲導演。
有別於去年在威尼斯影展奪得金獅獎各種歡欣鼓舞，今年奧斯卡得獎後中國媒體和網友在各大論壇倒是一片死寂，根據報導原因是趙婷2013年在一次接受《電影人》雜誌訪問中的部分言論遭中國民眾批評為「辱華」，導致「游牧人生」海報被撤下，可能無法如期上映。
